Chris Eames - Guitars & Vocals
Chris is Hot House’s old blues singer in a young white man’s body. He has been performing live music in Wliiamsburg for ten years. When he isn’t playing music he prefers to be fishing somewhere, it really doesn’t matter where. He is currently pursuing a degree in Mathematical Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives in Charles City with his wife, two dogs, two cats and three horses. |
Holly Hunt - Vocals
Holly Hunt is Hot House’s female vocalist. Holly and her husband, Norm (Hot House’s drummer) formed the group in 2006 with longtime friend Jim Harney. She also coordinates the business and performance scheduling for Hot House. Holly Studied Voice & Musical Theater at The Boston Conservatory of Music and though classically trained, she is equally talented in many styles of music. Locally she has performed for Busch Gardens, The Old Dominion Opry and The Music Theatre of Williamsburg. While living in Nashville TN, Holly performed, sang demo’s for publishing houses, songwriters & appeared on Country Music Television. Working with artists Reese Winan, Pat Flynn, Helen Cornelius and Tom Netherton highlight her resume. In addition to singing with Hot House, Holly is a voice-over artist and can be heard on local TV and radio. Holly resides in Williamsburg with her husband Norm and their fuzzy baby “Ella”. Norm Frigault - Drums & Vocals
Norm started playing professionally over 25 years ago when he joined his first working band at 13. Since then he has played in just about any kind of musical situation you can think of. His list of credits is long, owing his accomplishments to his diverse background, his education and study of varied styles of music. A lifelong student of music, he was a member of school bands and orchestras receiving numerous awards while a member, and has taught locally at the Middle, High school and University levels. Norm attended James Madison University as a music major and cites John Gunnar Mossblad, Dr. George West and Robert Jospe as major influences. Jim Harney - Bass & Vocals
Jim Harney is Hot House's Bass Player as well as helping to run things behind the scenes. For those of you who have seen Limelight, you know that Jim is actually a saxophone player. Jim is a multi-instrumentalist playing woodwinds, bass, drums and even a little keyboards. Jim has been working as a freelance musician since he was in High School in Northern Virginia. Jim attended James Madison University where he earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance. Some of Jim's musical experiences have included nearly 20 seasons at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, local and regional shows, national touring companies, cruise ships, house bands, and much other freelance work. In addidion to playing bass and singing with Hot House, Jim is also active as an arranger, recording engineer, clinician, and teacher. Recently, after a decision to return to school for the computer field, Jim became a web developer. Over the years, Jim has performed with numerous groups playing all styles of music. Steve Hall - Keyboards
Steve Hall is Hot House's keyboard man. Steve has been working as a soloist and with groups since his high school days in Newport News. Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music in piano performance from Hampton University. Since graduating, Steve has performed with many groups including touring show bands and local bands. As a soloist, Steve has worked for Carnival Cruise Lines as well as many years in local restaurants such as The Williamsburg Inn, The Williamsburg Lodge, Fort Magruder Inn and as a fixture in the Bray Dining Room at Kingsmill. In addition to playing piano and keyboard, Steve teaches private lessons and works as a realtor for a local real estate agency. |
